Q: In Game: Story & Characters

Read on about the 5 Ocean Heroes, as they fight against the plastic trash & disasters that are harming our oceans; killing millions of marine life. Shasha - an environmentalist represents the Indian Ocean. In her words, "I've been working to reduce the contamination of the ocean. However, little efforts are not sufficient anymore. It's time to take some serious action & reduce the pollutants. Join me!" Krish - North Pacific Ocean is led by Krish, who with his group of college friends are doing their bit to stop the non-degradable ocean pollutants from endangering the marine life species in the ocean area. Bon - "An avid boat lover, I was troubled to see the big fishes & turtles entangled & hurt in old discarded fishnets. Join me as I get on with my mission to rescue & safeguard ocean creatures from plastic hazards." - says Bon from the South Pacific Ocean. Ozoh - From North Atlantic Ocean Fisherman Ozoh is the Ocean Hero. He has seen the ocean worsen with plastic waste. With his friends & community, he wishes to bring a change in our attitudes & approach to the earth. Tina - Tina represents the South Atlantic Ocean. A Diver by profession, during her scuba lessons seeing the rising plastic waste & threat to aquatic life greatly disturbed her. Hence she is on this mission to clean & save the ocean.

Q: In Game Issue: The Boat is not available to begin the game.

Every player is assigned 5 boats for game on the first download. Once all the assigned boats are used for the ocean clean-up mission, you can either buy a boat using Dropledge Credits or wait for 10 minutes for the next boat to be directly assigned to you. (Tip: Why not use this waiting period to take a pledge / contribute towards reducing plastic pollution or read up our blogs on this website!)

Q: Ocean Heroes – In Game Boosters & Upgrades explained.

Boosters: • Suction Gun - Helps the diver to collect more plastic quickly. • Extra Oxygen - Gives more time to the Diver to achieve his targets. • Shield - Saves the diver from the unfriendly sea creatures. Upgrades: • Health Upgrade - helps to increase & improves diver's health conditions to better support the plastic clean up mission • Endurance Upgrade - improves the diver immunity from dangerous attacking sea creatures • Torch Upgrade - increase torch angle by 10% enhancing diver's visibility to collect more plastic You can buy the boosters & upgrades with Dropledge Credits. You can earn credits by playing your best or purchasing them from the store section in the Game.

Q: How to save and restore in-game progress (for Android Players)?

To save and restore progress, you need to: 1. Install the Google Play Games app. 2. Go to the settings of the Google Play Games app (green icon), and check the options "Sign in to games automatically" and "Use this account to sign in". 3. Enter the correct information of your Google Play account. 4. Launch the game and check the game settings. 5. If you see the "Connect" button in the game settings, then Google Play account is not connected. Click it to connect your Google Play account. 6. Do not reject or close the window with a suggestion to connect the Google play account when the game asks about it. Also, please note: • We do not have your progress and cannot restore it for you • You can play with the ability to save and restore progress only on your Google Play account. • There are no ways to change progress or create a new profile for the same game login session • There is only one progress in the game and it is saved on the Google Play account, which is always restored, if the account was linked correctly. • If your progress was not restored by Google Play, it means it was previously saved only on your device.

Q: I keep getting disconnected/get error messages/something happened in-between.

Test your connection end-to-end & do restart the app. We recommend using a Wifi connection for a better user experience. In case the problem still persists, please reach us on support@dropledge.org At times this message also means, the server is under maintenance to help us improve the user experience and it will be up & ready shortly.

Q: Game does not function smoothly or I cannot launch the game.

Please check if you have installed the latest version of the game from Google PlayStore. Also, check your internet connectivity. We recommend using a Wifi connection for a better user experience. In case the problem still persists, please reach us on support@dropledge.org

Q: How do I enable in app purchases?

Head back to the Settings screen. Tap General, and then tap Restrictions.

Q: I did not receive power-ups or upgrades on purchases.

Please check for an active network and do try to restart the app. Power-ups/upgrades will get updated on the next server connection. If the problem still persists, please reach out to us on support@dropledge.org
