I, Dr. Nilratan Shende, founded – EAGL Livelihood Foundation 4 years ago to reach out to extremely poor and vulnerable tribal households in over 30 villages in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
Given my 18 years of work in the area of Development Sector, Rural & Agriculture Economy, I firmly believe that by connecting agriculture + forest produce to the open markets, forming self-help groups, empowering women, and creating self-sustainable enterprises – we can turn tribal problems of India into positive development led opportunities.
Till date, thru’ EAGL Livelihood Foundation we have helped about to 28,000 beneficiaries.
However, the current times have been absolutely devastating for these communities. Sudden loss of livelihood has aggravated the poverty & hunger issues.
Even the Smallest Contribution can make an impact on someone in need.
